The Origins of the Star Nation

Elizabeth Cook-Linn, founder of the Oak Lake Writers Society suggested you talk about how Dakota people or the Ochete Shakomi came from the stars. And I really liked the title of the book too. It's we are the stars because it's a writer of where Dakota people came from. Within those star stories, yes, they're origineratives, but they're also important stories that tell us who we are and what's expected of us.
