Imitation of Christ by Thomas R Kempis, a Book of Christian Spirituality, It's Very Deep

conscious suffering is very, very powerful when it arises in your life. To some of you that may never come such deep, you may die before that deep suffering comes but so there are other ways of awakening as well. There's a book called the Imitation of Christ written by Thomas R. Kempis about Christian spirituality from medieval times. It says: 'You become one with Christ' and I think he was written in the 13th century or so. Make sure you get a good translation, not the more recent translations,. Get an older translation, because there are quite a few more recent, but I'm not very deep, it's just something came to me."
