The Halasset in 1967

The most cited paper I think talking about in a mitochondrial and exercise is the Halasset in 1967. Yeah, right. And when he first started doing it in the exercise trade, the rats, and he'd done a lot of very interesting, very interesting animal studies. But then what happened is he started to get people who had backgrounds in human exercise, physiology to work and develop a human lab in parallel with his animal labs. Bob Hickson was involved in that and a number of people were involved in that. Later Jim Hagberg really got it going and Jim is still active.
