Psychosis - What Happened to Joe?
Daniel freeman is professor of clinical psychology at the university of oxford. Som persecutory delusions are when people have strongly held, but inaccurate beliefs that others are deliberately trying to harm them. This is what happened to joe as part of his psychosis. His beliefs that people were persecuting him and would attack him took over life. And it's not uncommon for people with psychosis to have these kinds of experiences - they can lead to psychiatric hospital.
