Fanon argues that every spontaneously formed group represents quote unquote liberation at a local level. Reconciliations between tribes and rival families are made in favor of national unity, he says. The people living in their huts begin to beat to a new national rhythm, Fanon writes. But the colonial powers will not take this sitting down; they begin to rally against these uprisings.
