The Difficulty of Dark Souls

I think the difficulty on the main path is pretty well judged. It's only in the optional content where the difficulty gets really really intense. I don't think like it's there for the people who want the challenge. But if you're a player who just wants to experience the atmosphere and just wanting to experience the story and the world and the characters, then this game can be completed without too much trouble.
