The Conflicts of Interest in Food

There's no real pressure that i can see, from within the nutrition profession to try to clean up the conflicting situation. There's so much data on this now that you can see that there are conflicting interests that are at work. People aren't aware of them. You need regulation to do something like that. For the pharmaceutical industry, the affordable care act required drug companies to state publicly how much money they give to medical institutions and individuals. It would be nice if it were for food companies.
