How to Secure Cross Communication Between Two Apps
In the Android manifest, you are defining a scheme that is correlated back to the intent filter. So when you define the permission within the app, you'll say like, oh, it has to have the same signature that I have,. And so if you do that, then if another app tries to call with that permission, the system will check, oh, is that certificate the same? It's not a default as far as I'm aware, but it's certainly an easy win for secure cross communication between two of your own apps.
