The Haunting Effect of Death on Marie
Barry: I think Marie's contemplation of death is haunting her at that time. She's thinking about premature death and loss. Does it make her more likely to have an experience like this? Deborah: It feels almost like a manifestation of what’s going on inside Marie at this moment, feeling far from home, feeling lost. We always have to be alive in a haunting to the possibility that somebody might be misinterpreting things.
