The Importance of Practice in Writing
I think the thing for me about practice and writing is it's difficult because, you know, it's almost like everything's kind of the game. I was thinking the other day, like, what's the equivalent of playing scales with writing? Like what? Oh, that would be like writing exercises. And there are a couple of copying exercises in the steel journal. If you really slow down and slowly copy out your favorite writing, you learn so much. Absolutely.
