Is There a Trait of Creativity in People?

Creative people can either pursue their creative nature or they can wilt and die. It's striking to me how fundamental an instinct that is and how unrelenting it is. There's a conventional person, a conservative person, who isn't like that at all. They find that routine soothing and the exercise of that predictable duty, meaningful and sustaining but a creative person, that's just death for them.
