Is Putin a Madman?
I've always rejected both of those characterizations of puton. I think he's much more of an opportunist who is capable of deploying force decisively and rapidly when an opportunity arises to advance his conception of russia's national interests. And i've never seen him as a realist, in part because of the reasons that i was just ibing. It will be up to future historians to determine when precisely, you know, the decision was made to attack ukrainet.
