How to Read a Paper
The reading and the writing have that sort of flip sides of a coin sense about them, don't they? But one thing that I often notice with early career researchers is they see a paper. They see those 18 pages you were talking about, and it's a bit of a massive text. And yet, I'm sure with your practice at reading, you've learned over the years to extract from a paper the information or the perspective on the information that you're looking for. You know the places to go. The phrasing to look for and so on. Just just for reference.
