The Cult of Med School
After seven to 12 years of medical education today's young physicians will join a cult centered around four biases competitive autonomous hierarchical and non-creative. Medical schools in the US still accept medical students based on their science GPA ability to memorize organic chemistry formulas and MCAT scores. I don't always think that bedside manner and the human aspect is taken into account enough in medicine.
