Lisp, Is a Function Programming Language?

Back then they didn't have the notion of function. Pascal introduced procedure, which is still not a function. I think it might have been Fortran. Lisp was the first one to introduce that and also the first language to be garbage collected. Right. That's true. The conditional form, what today we call if in a sense, was, was one of the innovation of Lisp. It's one of them.
