The Invocation of the Invisibles in the Bible
The invocation is what's called the Jesus prayer. It has several forms, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God have mercy upon me, a sinner. But the Father say that it can be contracted to a point where it's only Jesus - depending on the situation. And so it is ultimately an invocation. When you have a name, well, you can experience it in your life. You can experience it the difference that say, I always tell people, like if you're surrounded by strangers and then someone you know walks into the bus. Where does your attention go? That person will shine because you know their name.
