How to Pace Students to Make Code Your Own

Some students were so far ahead that it was really challenging to keep them engaged and occupied. But I think there was something about the making code your own, right? And for students who weren't necessarily strong coders, making it their own, maybe meant making a narrative or making a story or giving it personality. Each student had the choice and the freedom to decide where they wanted to take their code within the time that we had to learn it.
