The Effects of Pantothenic Acid Dose on Retention

The researchers hypothesized that if you start with lower levels, then your body's going to rapidly uptake and hold on to whatever you supplement. Instead, it'll be more linear. And the only difference between the children following one curve versus the other was their baseline levels of pantothenic acid in the body. It makes a lot of sense to me that you'd be mopping up huge amounts there.
