Countermen versus Colorado is a case about the First Amendment. It's not directly a case about law fair matters, but it does have some interesting resonances and potential implications with January and six investigations which we'll get to in a little bit. The main question in countermen was what does it mean for something to be a quote, true threat and therefore unprotected by the First Amendment? There are all these questions about what counts as a true threat. And this has profound bearing or potentially profound bearing on the investigation into January 6.
