The Importance of Being Independent
One-man independent and advice firm. Do you think it's a necessary to get experience within an independent firm first? I'll have a quick stab at that. The only thing wrong with the restricted model is the horrible word restricted. If they call it focused, you can be independent or focused. That sounds far more true. Most real financial advisors in my experience are restricted. Their trade appellation may say independent financial advisor, but they're all restricted.
