Taking Your Kids on Vacation to More Exotic Places

Maddie went from inconsolable to gently sobbing within 15 minutes. She was still a bit freaked out following the whole thing, anyone would be. We pommed her off by saying, they just wanted to play, but they might get a little rough. This made sense to her and she was back to thinking Sri Lanka was the best place ever in no time. I suppose this has been a quite long-winded way of saying that no, it's not a terrible idea to take your kids on vacation to more exotic places.
