A Thousand Trails Home, Living With Caribou

There's a pretty strong heritage from indigenous people on how to be one with the environment. I think there's still quite a lot to learn from me anyway, being out with nature itself. It's exciting in the fall when it's a good cranberry season or it's exciting when the tundra has been empty of animals and suddenly thousands of caribou are coming towards you. Those are big feelings of not just connection but plain old food and provisions to survive.
