Collaborations now form the backbone of science, says martin gargulio. Some people may be betterd at one aspect of research, others may be better at other aspects. Large scale collaborations are showing to be effective in tackling global issues. So if we keep having incredible results as large groups, such as we've had with the sarscovi group, it's very hard to debate that it's not a better direction to go in.
