Is There a Need to Be 100% Wire Compatible With MySQL?
There's no plan to be completely 100% wire compatible because there's some things that we just simply don't use. There's a big project that came out of YouTube called the TAS 2 which is wire compatible with MySQL but kind of makesmyslicer distributed and they don't support all SQL in there as well. And that's okay if it solves their problem, right? I agree. If it does not solve your problem, pull requests accepted or forks. Or forks. So kind of on a different track here.
