You Don't Want to Be a Kid?

Sally Kohn: I was always the minority growing up as a white person in a bunch of different cultures. My dad lost his job during the dot com boom or bus. And the only job he could find was in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She says her parents told her she should go to private liberal arts college and learn how to be an nah-nah girl. But when she got into engineering they said "you don't need to go to school" Now you're doing anthropology because that's what your family wanted for you? So why did it turn out so differently than other kids' lives?
