The Trap of Possession and Control
Love does not possess, there is nothing to possess in divine love. You're going for the mastery of experience through love, not projecting out that mastery onto a person. Once you have mystical experiences, you actually see the folly of possession and control. These are pursuits of the ego, defences against the truth. And they're just distractions, again, to keep the mind in a limited self concept.
