The Collaboration Is What Makes Animation So Interesting
The director makes the call obviously, but that's the collaboration. You're kind of swapping ideas and hopefully somewhere you find something else that is greater than each and away. I remember I think it was Dead Man Walking, which was probably Richard Hoover. And the thing that the production design on that that was so great was it was small, ugly houses and it was supposed to be ugly in the story.
