Taking a Management Company Public
Investment firms are all structure the same way. There's a management company, and that is what the people who started the firm, that's what they own. If you take that public, then the fees that your investors are in theory paying the people who run the firm to runactually getting dardown out, are now getting dividended out to public shareholders like fortress or vision fund. The alignment is all messed up here.
