The Dangers of a Feudal Regime

A lot of these guys are behaving like the wholeness survivalist characters in my novel the postman they care about their own survival and maybe recreating a feudal regime afterwards. It's just not worth it if we blow this whole civilization this is our one chance for the stars so the ones we've met have been largely tech bros. There's a human tendency to fantasize yourself as a feudal lord or a king afterwards there's also the tendency to want your investment to pay off to not want to look like a panicky fool.
