The Implications of the Supreme Court's Ban on Affirmative Action in California

In the late 90s California voters voted to ban affirmative action or the consideration of race and ethnicity in public education, also in public employment. So I think there's something of a complicated interplay here where even if Americans do think it's harder for say students of color to be accepted to highly selective colleges,. they don't necessarily think that there should be a government policy to try to fix that. And then of course there are the Americans who don't believe that systemic racism exists at all.
