I Love You So Much, but I Don't Have a Story.

Lee: I've noticed two themes popping up quite a bit. It's the historical, historical fiction, historical nonfiction biography genre. And then this almost abstract kind of manuscript that doesn't really have a story and doesn't necessarily even have characters. What is what are you seeing in terms of trends and manuscripts that are being acquired? Have you noticed a shift over the past couple of years toward those or towards something else? Lee: The like historical ones you're talking about might be what we call picture book biographies, which are oftentimes about a time in history for kids.
