The Importance of Therapeutic Language in Preaching
Reverend Steven D. Polson, a friend of the show and friend of 1517, is preaching categorically to bound wills. Gillespie: "You either assume that people are free and they need to be bound, which means you tend to preach gospel, then law" He says he hates therapeutic language in preaching because it assumes that after you are fixed, you have more free will than you had before when you were broken.
