A bow and arrow were found at the site of his abandoned vehicle. It's not out of the question that Jacob brought these items along with him as some part of survival-style exercise. If he was being attacked, he could have at least tried using the bow to defend himself. But what kind of psychopath stocks from the forests of Washington hunting for human game? Who could have terrified Jacob so much that he'd have preferred to risk the freezing mountainside than risk walking back down into the woods? Did Jacob really get lost in the woods as some people contend or rather was he stopped, attacked, and then chased up the mountain by someone who still walks among us today?
