The Degree of Control That Interruptors Exercise Over Recipients

i talk about the degree of control that interveners exercise over recipients. We have what i call non controlling or persuasive interventions, where they're just trying to persuade recipients and leave them with no option but to do what they want. And then on the other end of the trom we can imagine interventions where interveners are literally forcing the recipients to do what the interveners want. So in my book I look at two different types of intervention: slightly controlling and highly controlling. The main cases i talk about are the structural adjustment programmes that were imposed on several countries in the 19th century by the f m and world bank.
