What Happened to Hats in the Forties?
The famous shoe hat, got by elsa scaparelli. The doll hat is another thing that's extremely a controversial. I think part of it was that in the thirties, particularly with the depression, you could change, didn't have to buy a new dress,. but you could change the look of things more easily by getting a new hat.
