Are You Studying Growth Mindset Behaviors in Teachers?
In the first pass at, which was published in nature, we found that school cultures undermine the treatment effect if they support more fixed mindset behaviors. In the next study, the next follow up paper that hopefully will come out soon, we surveyed teachers and asked them about their mind sets. And what we found is that when teachers reported more of a growth mind set, that's where you got bigger treatment effects. When teachers report more of a fixed mind set, you got nothing.
