Do People Come Out That Way?

i feel like if when i went to high school, if somebody was suddenly dating a person of the same gender, it would be like a huge big deal. If we are living in the society that you just created, i think people wouldn't have to come out like that. Shouldn't be a thing. E, why i'm looking into this whole situation is that i've called myself bisexual for so long because i did come out in a really dramatic way to my parents.
