Cash Bores in the US Money Market Funds After the Financial Crisis
Investors have funneled cash to US money market funds over the past week that made concerns over to safety of some bank deposits after collapse of two large lenders. The funds had more than $120 billion of net inflows in the weeks in the week to Wednesday. If you move the money to the brokerage account, you can do 2 million plus in broker deposits all FDIC insured. And down to the little community banks, you can buy brokered deposits and little community banks all over the country and they're all insured.
