The state government gets the stamp duty revenue, which would be wiped out if it was scrapped. It's a third or fourth main source of revenue to run the states. And the problem with GST is a regressive tax. We think around 1.8 to 2 million people have negative gearing in their property portfolio. But let's say that they're not high net worth people. Their average mum and dad's income's around 80,000 per year.
