The Universe Is Built Out of Stars

We are built out of little bits that have been assembled in the inside of stars. You could think of the whole universe as sort of being on fire. It's taking all that hydrogen fuel and trying to burn it into heavier stuff. Heavy elements allow us to make much more complicated and much more interesting things.
