"It's like, you have to give them the permission to laugh. And if it's you being an ass oll, they're like, wa, i can't laugh," he says. "But then if it's a guy that's like, oh, we agree with this guy's bad, all of a sudden they feel like they have permission to at it." The trick is to trigger their laughter before you trigger their empathy, Pa adds.
