The Chivo phone wallet seems to work in terms of lightning stuff mostly, but I've noticed the merchant terminal seems to default to on-chain. The payment process right now looks like they have to minimize their application that they're running for the register. But again, it's like you said, these are teething issues and as we get more and more people coming and spending, those things are going to iron themselves out.
