How to Appeal to a Nobler Motive in Design

Designers need to appeal to a nobler motive, which is what you made reference to in like solving a problem. We're not designing only for aesthetic or for our personal preferences, but also to achieve those goals and solve those problems. And I find that it's especially effective in design because we always have those motives. We just need to bring them to the forefront and allow people to see that that's what we're designing for.
