The History of Intelligence Testing

Alfred Benet designed the first intelligence test in France. The French government asked him to help identify children that needed extra tutoring. It's really morphed since then into something much larger right it was originally just about trying to predict these educational outcomes. We also know that the scores on these kinds of tests are associated with lots of other outcomes.
