Kosovo and Israel - What's the Difference?

The Congress of Berlin is actually when Serbia received its formal independence from the Ottoman Empire. In October 1912, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, they all gang up together to attack the Turks and they set off the first Balkan war there. Serbian forces seized Kosovo and part of what is now Albania, parts of Albania but then after pressure by several of the other countries and several of the European great powers, Serbia was forced to give up some of those territories. However, Kosovo was still in Serbian hands and Serbia nearly doubled in size as a result of its gains in the Balkan wars. But that's because of the Russian involvement though, right?
