i've been doing a lot of research on thisand i'm reading a book. I find myself going 35 on the residential streets of my neighbourhood without even realizing it, because they're so freaking wide. What we do in america is just spread our cities out, because cars allow it terrible. And what we should be doing is a allowing for more density and mixed use, which is what europe has done. But i've also been like, looking at google street view in random cities in europeand every single one of them is just much denser. There is people outsidein their cities that america can't even imagine.
