The Trial of David Gecht

In 1982, Sandra Delaware and Rose Davis were found dead in Chicago. Both women had been stabbed to death with their left breast amputated. Beverly Washington was discovered unconscious by a railroad track but managed to give detailed descriptions of the suspects' vehicles. David Gecht was arrested on suspicion of all three murders; he was released after just a few days due to lack of evidence. His undoing finally came when police tracked him down through a motel receipt.
