The Destruction of the Northern Kingdom of Israel

In second Kings chapter 14 Jonah is a prophet and he's a prophet to Jeroboam. The Assyrians were not good people They had not treated Israel well. And so Jonah like I don't want to go there but the Lord God demonstrates his kindness by Sparing and calling to conversion even people that did not know him. He says yet 40 days and then of us shall be overthrown Just doesn't tell them what they're doing wrong, just says bare it out.
