The Hubble Constant and Lensed Quasars
Astronomers use lensed quasars to infer the Hubble constant. The delay is because of the variability in the accretion disc, which we think could be caused by a galaxy amplifying it. You can see these kind of wobbles and warps as the two objects are passing one another from our perspective. And so you could be seeing that, but lensed.
