There's an interesting question about even if we are being compensated for our suffering, whether or not somebody should have the right to inflict that suffering just on the grounds that it's going to be compensated for. I still think that they've wronged them, even if they've compensated them for something, as long as it's being done unconcentually and in a way that a person doesn't get a say.
